According to a genealogy.com post by Janet Wamble, Charlotte R. (Owen) Lillard was the wife of Richard M. Lillard and the mother of Jesse Watson Lillard. Charlotte was born in Williamson County, TN in 1833 to Jesse Mercer Owen and Sarah (Atkinson) Owen.
